❗️Myth number 3: Dietary supplements are always bad and you can live without them.
🍒This bias towards dietary supplements comes from the lack of legislation in terms of their production and sale, as well as due to aggressive advertising for unfair sellers.
🍒There are also some people who think we can get all the nutrients we need from food. They're right, of course, but in that case our nutrition must be optimally balanced in terms of nutrient composition. Even professional athletes whose diets are created by their dietitians and doctors use supplements.
🍒Studies show that people with a balanced diet still suffer from some deficits (for example vitamin D or magnesium). We believe that ones diet must include dietary supplements however you must consult with a doctor. It is OK if you follow a more or less balanced diet, however there are other diets that specific groups of people follow, such as pregnant and feeding women, vegans etc. so it is essential that they consume dietary supplements to obtain optimal nutritional balance.
